Snowball Is Back!

If you’re a bird enthusiast, or just an animal lover, then perhaps you remember Snowball, a medium sulphur-crested Eleanora cockatoo, who stole the spotlight in 2008 by showing off his sweet dance moves to Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody” on YouTube. Well, he’s at it again. Snowball will be making an appearance teaching children how to dance on Animal Planet’s “Most Outrageous Animals” this May. You can get show times at the Bird Lovers Rescue Inc., blog.

I was working for Bird Talk magazine at the time that Snowball’s dance moves caught everyone’s attention. I got to interview Irena Schulz, who runs the Bird Lovers Rescue, Inc., about Snowball. And she even sent BirdChannel some exclusive videos of Snowball dancing to new songs. If you haven’t seen them yet you can check out Snowball’s exclusive videos and comment on which one is your favorite. You can also read my article, “Snowball Gets Funky” in the June 2008 issue of Bird Talk magazine if you’d like to learn more about Snowball.
